Jamie Yuccas is an Emmy award-winning American journalist currently working at CBS News, Los Angeles as a correspondent. Yuccas joined the station’s team in September of 2015 as a New York-based correspondent for CBS Newspath. In addition, her reporting has been broadcast across all CBS News broadcasts and platforms.
During her time at CBS News, she has covered several stories such as Orlando’s Pulse Club shooting, the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics, and the 2016 official mission.
Previously before joining CBS News, Jamie served as a morning anchor and general assignment reporter at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She served for the station from June 2011 to August 2015. While there, she luckily won two Emmy Awards and contributed reporting to the CBS Evening News and CBS This Morning for breaking reports in the Midwest, remembering flooding for Minot, North Dakota, the Minnesota state government closure, as well as winter and weather. Moreover, she won an Emmy Award for coverage of Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
In addition, Jamie was an anchor and reporter at WBBH in Fort Myers from 2004 to 2011.
