Jeremy Diamond is an American journalist working as a White House correspondent for CNN based in Washington, D.C., where he covered the Biden administration. Prior to this, he covered the Trump administration and the 2020 campaign. He also covered Donald Trump’s North Korea policy, Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic, and his West Wing.
Diamond reported on Trump’s rise, traveling across the country as an embedded reporter with his campaign from its inception in 2015 through Election day. Most notably, he joined CNN as a reporter for CNNPolitics in September 2014 after two previous internships with the network.
Before he joined CNN, he earned his journalism chops as a reporter and news editor at the GW Hatchet. GW Hatchet is an independent student newspaper of George Washington University.
