Jessi Turnure is an American Emmy award-winning journalist currently working as a correspondent for Nexstar Nation’s bureau in Washington. She is currently a special contributor at CBS4 News in Columbus, Ohio. Turnure is a graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism and also studied a minor in Spanish.
Jessi joined Nexstar Media Group from KARK/Fox 16 in Little Rock, Arkansas where he was the statewide political correspondent and host of Capitol View, the Sunday morning political talk show.
Turnure has interviewed state, national, and international leaders. In addition, she reported on major political stories including the 2018 elections, the state legislative sessions, and the state’s executions. Moreover, in a special coverage, Jessi covered visits by President Donald Trump and Vice President Pence.
