Siera Santos Biography
Siera Santos is an American journalist currently working as a sports anchor/reporter for FOX 10 News. She joined the FOX 10 sports family in March 2020. She is glad to be back in her hometown covering the teams she grew up cheering for.
Prior to returning to her hometown, Santos spent almost five years as a sports broadcaster in Chicago. While there, she served as the White Sox sideline reporter for the regional sports network NBC Sports Chicago. Similarly, she hosted the station’s nightly flagship show.
Santos started her career as a news multimedia journalist in Colorado Springs. Later on, she moved to Oklahoma City where she switched back to her true love: sports. In addition, Santos also served as a sports anchor and reporter at the CBS duopoly based in Los Angeles.
Santos’s career journey has not been easy. At the age of 17 years old, she dropped out of high school and got her GED. Though she wasn’t motivated to go to college, she knew exactly what she wanted to do in her life: to become a sports broadcaster. Siera transformed that passion into the classroom and she graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in Spanish.
During her free time, Santos enjoys dancing bachata, hiking Arizona’s scenic trails, and making margaritas from scratch. As well, she is an advocate for animal adoption and you can find her hanging out with her rescue dogs; Inkie and Neil Diamond.
