Joce Sterman is an American journalist who presently works for Spotlight on America as the National Investigative Correspondent, covering enterprise and investigative stories for the network’s 70+ affiliates around the country. Fortunately, her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including Regional Emmys, an Edward R. Murrow Award for investigative contributions to breaking news, and the company’s first National Headliner Award in the broadcast network division, where she competed against major networks like CBS and NBC News. In April of 2019, she joined the Spotlight on America team.
Prior to joining the Spotlight on America team, Sterman worked for Circa, a millennial-driven digital platform, as a Senior National Investigative Correspondent. She also worked for our Washington, D.C. station, WJLA, for two years as an investigative journalist with the 7 On Your Side I Team.
Joce’s career spans nearly two decades, with stops at a half-dozen television and radio stations across the mid-Atlantic region, including the ABC affiliate in Baltimore and the Fox affiliate in Harrisburg. Her work has been featured on World News, Nightline, and Good Morning America, as well as in the Washington Post and the New York Post. She began her career in television as a morning presenter at her high school outside of Philadelphia.
