Josh Cascio is an American journalist currently working as a reporter for FOX 13 News since joining the station in March of 2011. He is thrilled to call Tampa home. Previously, Cascio worked as a general assignment reporter at ABC News 4 in Charleston, South Carolina.
Josh began his journalism career in June 2005 in Rock Hill, South Carolina at CN2 News. While there, he covered everything from uncovering and mooring to studio generation and shooting. Similarly, while there, he was the recipient of “Best Feature Story” two years in a row by the Radio and Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas.
Additionally, Josh spent three years in the Lowcountry, giving details about an assortment of stories that took him from the senator’s close to home to the flight deck of a C-17 flying machine. Cascio received an Associated Press Award and a South Carolina Broadcast Association Star Award for his five-section arrangement, “Messy Jobs of the Lowcountry.”
Regarding his education, Cascio joined Winthrop University in Rocky Hill, South Carolina, the United States of America, and majored in Journalism and a minor in Spanish. Josh is a native of Waterford, Connecticut. In addition, he is a diehard fan of Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics as well as a University of Connecticut Huskies fan. In his spare time, he likes playing pickup basketball and lifting weights at the gym.
