Kaitlin Sharkey is an American journalist who presently works for Fox 32 News as a sports anchor and reporter. She joined the station’s roster in April of 2020, after working for three years at a Fox affiliate station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Sharkey grew up in a small Wisconsin town and has always enjoyed sports, both watching and participating in them. She earned a journalism and communication degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
She began her career as a sports reporter for the CBS affiliate in Wausau, Wisconsin, where she covered everything from high school football to the NFL and other major league sports teams. Kaitlin moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin, after Wausau and spent two years covering and traveling with the Packers.
She later moved to Milwaukee, where she worked as a host, commentator, and reporter for the station’s NFL coverage. She was also a regular on 97.3 TheGame, an iHeart radio show.
Kaitlin was also ecstatic at the prospect of visiting such a major sports market as Chicago. She knows how passionate Chicago sports fans are, having grown up in Wisconsin, and has enjoyed learning about and covering the other side of the NFL’s oldest rivalry. During the NFL season, she anchors Props and Locks and Bears Unleashed for Fox 32, as well as reports and analyzes for Bear Postgame Live.
