Linsey Davis is an American, New York-based, two-time Emmy Award-winning journalist currently working as an anchor and correspondent at ABC News. Davis joined the ABC News team in June of 2007.
She attended Moorestown Friends High School in New York for her high school education. Later on, she enrolled at the University of Virginia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Moreover, she earned her Master of Arts Degree in Communication from New York University. She was also a member of the Alpha Kappa Sorority.
Davis is currently an anchor for ABC News Live Prime, the first-ever streaming nightly newscast from ABC News Live, as well as “World News Tonight” on Sundays. She works as a correspondent for “World News Tonight,” “Good Morning America,” “20/20,” and “Nightline,”.

In September 2019 and February 2020, she demonstrated her harsh but fair moderating skills at ABC News’ Democratic presidential debates, holding candidates accountable on racial inequity and other crucial topics.
Prior to joining ABC News, Davis served as a weekend news anchor at WTHR-TV in Indianapolis where she began as a reporter in 2003. She reported from Turin, Italy for the 2006 Winter Olympics, Athens, Greece for the 2004 Summer Olympics, and New Orleans, Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina. She also serves at WJRT-TV.
