Lorenzo Hall is an American journalist who currently works as a weekend evening anchor and reporter at WUSA 9. Before here, Lorenzo worked at WTIC-TV, in Hartford, Connecticut as a primary evening anchor.
His career started back in high school where he gained more exposure to journalism at KOMU-TV. Later he earned a contract at WTVR-TV, in Richmond, Virginia. He was an evening reporter and anchor and also reported the local leader’s wrongdoings.
He is a two-time regional Edward R. Murrow award winner and holds eight Emmy awards throughout his journalism career. He has also worked at KBIA-FM AND KOMU-TV as a general assignment reporter.
In high school, his passion began on Black Entertainment Television’s, “Teen Summit” as “Posse Member”. Hall later attended the University of Missouri School of Journalism in Columbia, Missouri. He pursued and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
For journalism practices, he visited France, Italy, Germany, and Belgium. He attained an Emma L. Bowen work-study scholarship in Washington for four years during summer and winter.
