He gained national recognition for playing Alec Lightwood’s role in Freefrom’s Shadowhunters alongside his on-screen sibling Emeraude Toubia who plays Isabelle Lightwood. He even gained more fame as the younger kid brother of Bey-watch star and Hollywood actress Alexandra Daddario. Matthew is also known for starring in films and TV shows like The Debut (2012), When the Game Stands Tall (2014), Cabin Fever (2016) and Trust (2021).
Daddario was born and brought up in the suburbs of New York City. He grew up as the son of two intellectual parents who both work to bring justice to the United States. Daddario attended the Collegiate School where he graduated back in the early 2000s. He then enrolled at the University of Bloomington where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Bloomington.
