Gayle and her co-anchor Huel Perkins are among the longest-running anchor teams in Metro Detroit. Prior to joining Fox 2 News, she worked as a news anchor/reporter for CBS News based in New York.
As a five-time Emmy Award-winning journalist, Gayle has so far worked for a number of notable television networks. For instance, Gayle has worked for CBS News in New York and won five Emmy Awards. Her work at the station has taken her overseas to cover stories in Ireland, England, Bosnia, Russia, and Honduras. She has additionally worked for CBS News, NBC, and ABC Affiliates.
