Reena Ninan Biography
Reena Ninan is a renowned American television journalist currently working for CBS News based in New York City. She anchors CBSN and the Saturday edition of CBS Weekend News. Ninan also reports for CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News, and other CBS broadcasts.
Reena began her career as a producer at the Washington Post. However, between 2004 and 2012, she reported for Fox News Channel, becoming Fox News’ Middle East Correspondent in the year 2007. She held this position until she left the network in 2012.
As a reporter, Ninan has been through the world, to mention but a few; LibyaIndonesia, India, Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and Iraq. In July 2011, Reena was named one of Glamour magazine’s “Women on the Front Lines” after her successful reporting over the years.
She then joined ABC News based in the Washington bureau in 2012. While there, she covered the White House and the State Department. She later relocated to New York, reporting to Good Morning America while traveling abroad as a foreign correspondent.
In April 2015, Reena was named the co-anchor of ABC’s early morning shows World News Now and America This Morning, alongside T.J. Holmes. Later in 2016, Ninan was hired by CBS.
