Scott Schneider is an American journalist who is currently working at FOX 32 News Chicago as a news anchor, reporter, and co-anchors Good Dat Chicago since joining November 2015. Prior to joining his current station, he worked as a reporter and anchor at WXIX-TV, (FOX affiliate) in Cincinnati, Ohio.
A Los Angeles native, Scott has worked in many stations including WXIX-TV where he worked as an anchor and reporter and anchored the 6:30 and 10 pm newscasts for the station. In addition, he has worked at WFMJ-TV, NBC, and CW-affiliate in Youngstown, Ohio as a producer, reporter, and anchor. At this station, he worked for more than 10 years which made him gain more experience.
He has also worked at WDTV (CBS affiliate) in Clarksburg, Weston, West Virginia. Throughout his career, he has covered and reported a number of memorable stories and news. His career has led him to encounter so many memorable people and even interview them from newsmakers to politicians. One of his most memorable assignments is covering individuals who have demonstrated courage in the face of adversity.
Schneider is a California Polytechnic State University graduate in Pomona, California where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in journalism.
