Shaina Humphries is an American journalist who is currently working at Fox 29 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the United States. She co-anchors The FOX 29 News broadcasts weeknights at 5, 6, 10, and 11 pm since joining the station in February 2019.
Prior to joining FOX 29 News, Humpries worked at KCCI-TV in Des Moines, Iowa as an anchor and reporter. This was after completing her studies at the University of Illinois and joining Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where she graduated with a master’s degree in journalism.
At the station, Shaina covered major election cycles in Iowa. In 2017, she reported exclusively on Iowa’s opioid addiction epidemic, resulting in KCCI’s yearlong State of Addiction initiative. This was an additional role to her daily job as the station’s 9 p.m. news anchor. In February 2019, she left the station to join FOX 29 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
