Taheshah Moise Biography
Taheshah Moise is an American journalist who is currently working as a morning news anchor at KCEN-TV since joining the station in July 2021. Prior to joining her current station, Moise worked in Greenboro/Winston-Salem, North Carolina at WFMY News 2 as an anchor and multimedia journalist. She attended a local high school and later joined Liberty University in 2011 where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2014.
Her career kicked off at KXXV in Waco in 2014 where she served as the morning and midday anchor. She however left the station in 2017 and moved to North Carolina. In Carolina, she accepted an evening anchor position at WFMY News 2. At WFMY, several of her stories went viral being featured on TV stations across the country. Her story of a woman’s nightmare pedicure led to changes at the state level.
In 2018, she was part of the team that produced award-winning coverage celebrating the life of Rev. Billy Graham. The coverage won the team an NC Association of Broadcasters award. TEGNA Pinnacle Awards also named the coverage a finalist for Breaking News.
In addition, Teheshah helped start a new afternoon conversational newscast called Four 2 Five at WFMY News 2. When off her duties, this eloquent journalist can be found playing volleyball or appreciating arts.
