Vicki Graf is an American Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and a journalist who presently works as a meteorologist for Boston 25 News, WFXT, on the weekend evening program. Graf joined the weather team at the station in May 2018. He also has the Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association.
Vicki studied Applied Meteorology at Ambry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree. She is a member of the American Meteorology Society, the National Weather Association, the Chi Epsilon Pi Meteorology Honors Society, the Order of Omega, and the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority.
Graf, who grew up in Marblehead, attributes her early interest in weather to her fourth-grade teacher. When Hurricane Bob wreaked havoc on New England in 1991, she became fascinated by tropical systems.
Graf previously served as part of an Emmy-nominated weather team at WSOC in Charlotte, North Carolina, before joining Boston 25 News. She formerly worked in Augusta, GA, where she was honored by the Georgia Associated Press for Outstanding Coverage amid a severe weather outbreak and a rare winter snowstorm. Vicki also worked as a chief meteorologist at WDHN in Dothan, AL, and Weather Services International in Andover, MA.
Graf enjoys being active in her leisure time by running marathons. She has completed four marathons and intends to run the Boston Marathon one day.
