He is widely recognized as a cast member of NBC’s Saturday Night Live and the lovely wedded husband of famous American actress, Scarlett Johannsen. He even gained popularity for appearing as a writer and co-anchor on the Weekend Updates. Colin is also a celebrated actor who has appeared in films and TV shows like Staten Island Summer (2016), How to Be Single (2016) and Tom & Jerry (2021).

Jost was born and brought up in the southern suburbs of Grymes Hill in New York City. He grew up as the eldest son in a family of two kids. Colin finished his high school studies at Regis High School based in Manhattan. He then graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in history and literature from Harvard University with majors in Russian Literature and British Literature.
