Adelson attended Hebrew Reali School for 12 years. She worked as a medical officer in Ness Ziona for compulsory military service. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Genetics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Medical Degree from the Sackler Medical School of Tel Aviv University, she went on to become Chief Intern in the Emergency Rokach (Hadassah) Hospital in Tel Aviv.
