Robyn Haines Biography
Robyn Haines is an American journalist currently working as the host of Daytime Columbus on NBC4. She joined the NBC4 team back in February 2012. Previously, she served as a reporter and a morning anchor for WHIZ-TV in Zanesville, OH, and also as a morning anchor for WWTV in Cadillac, MI.
Haines received her B.S. in Journalism at Ohio University.
Haine’s first job was piercing ears at Afterthoughts at the Great Lakes Mall. In addition, her most memorable story, was when she traveled to Slidell, LA, after Hurricane Katrina. She recalls the family she profiled saying, “You just gotta keep on keepin’ on” as they starred at the rubble that used to be their home.
She joined the NBC4 team back in February 2012. Previously, she served as a reporter and a morning anchor for WHIZ-TV in Zanesville, OH, and also as a morning anchor for WWTV in Cadillac, MI.
Similarly, Haines is the recipient of two Ohio Associated Press awards for her reporting, and a Michigan Association of Broadcasters Award for her “Small Survivors” special series, which featured two young children battling cancer.
If she weren’t working for NBC4, Haines says she would be a greeting card writer.
